Thanks

  • Ploaj, for creating HSDLib and HSDRaw. MSM would not exist if this program had not already paved the way to show that rendering models from .dat files is possible. Character / Stage model mods would not exist as we know them without HSDRaw. It is what I based most if not all of MSM's rendering code.
Thank you for helping me when I got stuck while learning concepts along the way.
  • Durgan, the Melee Modding Technowizard himself. He has been on SmashBoards since 2005, always ready to help the next modder on their journey. His contributions to Melee modding cannot be overstated. He has continuously innovated the way we mod the game with tools such as Dat Texture Wizard (which I used when starting out with texture mods in 2015!), Melee Code Manager, and now he's working on the all in one modding program, Melee Modding Wizard. He has also been the main contributor in the latest 20XX Hack Pack versions.

DTW was instrumental in helping me understand texture formats, as well as the ISO structure.
Thank you for contributions to the community and for helping me along the way as well.

You can support his work here.
  • Revel8n, for creating the SmashBoards post explaining the dat file format. This was a huge help when getting started on parsing dat files.
  • Michael Ashby, for creating and maintaining ssbmtextures.com. We used to have to find skins through SmashBoards posts, then we had a site called Modulous for skins which disappeared. Glad to have one central place to find skins and mods!
  • The Melee Workshop, on SmashBoards and now mostly on discord. Thank you to all the amazing skin creators and modders that inspired me to make this tool in the first place! Great place for getting into Melee modding.
